I know they can target the ones important to their personal quests, for example that lady scared of Ifan in Fort Joy, she automatically targets him whenever my party passes the stairs the first time, which is fine with me, because she's tied to his quest/profession, but the main quest should still be handled by the main character and non other. It's nice that they try their best to approach at least one of your guys, if they can't reach the leader, but that's the point. There's a leader for a good reason. If they can't target him/her, then why not just waiting for them to get in the range? Once you happen to be in their range, well let them approach you freely, no problem with that. That's the whole problem I have with it. Is there a good reason for that priest in the Cathedral to stop any of your character (other than the party leader) to ask them, if they came to join the Prayer? Ifan has no quest with him, in fact his quest is closed by then, nothing left. And Lohse just ran past him a little moment ago, but he couldn't target her, instead pick another guy. Arhu can't simply wait for Lohse to reach him, because again, they are in hurry, or what? Didn't seem to be in much hurry, when we fought for his freedom (or slightly before), but once the combat ends, he rushes to the closest character (even over a great distance) just to ask you, who you are and whatnot.
