I also noticed in my "Heels!" screenshot a book I didn't pick up, so I finally went back and read it. Although it's officially(?) inspired by Poe's
Murders in the Rue Morgue, "Murders in the Rue Lanilor" always made me think of Iron Maiden's
song of the same name. Sure enough, the book mentions
Charlotte the Harlot, a song from the previous Maiden album. I always preferred the Paul Di'Anno stuff anyway.
