Greetings everyone. For many of those who finished the game you feel the same dissatisfaction with all the endings in D:OS2 and they are objectively lame. As example the very first ending which I got was claiming divinity for my custom character with my motivating that if my character, and all of yours who finished the game, seen some shit during the game. solved very difficult problems and won the battles in spite of the odds against much stronger opponents, would be perfect solution and with divinity buff will be able to finish the God King and end the voidwoken threat... Nope, protagonist will become just a regular designated leader in the war with the God King, absolutely nothing changed. Hell, even in the ending where you surrendering to Lucian and let him have the divinity, he will do much better job as a Divine. Yes, this self-richeous idiot prick who created this whole mess with voidwoken, and future disaster with the return of Damian, would be better as Divine than you are. Feeling good, isn't it? We could as well stayed at Fort Joy and been purged, result would be the same. Nothing we did or archive really mattered.

Another disappointment was siding with the archdemon Adramahlikh. All seemingly went right : main character and archdemon got their divinities and with their united as one forces, mortals and demons combine, make the Void with God King beaten to the pulp, but later Adramahlikh turns againt you and starts another war, even way worse than with voidwoken... Why the hell did he need the Rivellon, isn't there infinite universes for the him to conquer, for Raan sake? It's stupid, demons are evil for the sake of being evil.

With the magic of save/load I concluded that the "best ending" would be sealing the veil by purging the source from Rivellon, which turn you and your companions into the silent monks and somehow malady finds a way later to restore their souls. It's probably will be canonical one, considering what what know already about the Divinity : Fallen Heroes, direct sequel of the D:OS2. Which is seriously contradicts what we have in Divinity 2, if Lucian is dead. Maybe D2 no longer is canon and will be remade.

My question why there was no more reasonable solution to void problem? In BD Nemesis had similar problems with the demon dimension, but single paladin with the death knight found a way to solve it without some drastic changes to the world. Why in Rivellon they couldn't create the same crystal or something to hold the barriers between the worlds? Maybe purging the source from Lucian himself would be enough to close the veil, no one from characters even propose that. Lucian was ready to sacrifice everyone for the "right thing", everyone except himself of course, what a douchebag.

One small nitpick here. Luuceeen didn't start the Void, he nuked the Elves with Deathfog to end Black Ring (which oh sooooo worked). The Void would come regardless of his actions, as the 7 Eternal Lords were the ones, who started the whole thing. Lucian is still a prick, that I gladly agree.

Yeah, all of the endings seemed kind of bleak (and glitchy, but that's another thing). None of them really seemed like a 'good ending.' I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.
