Someone has found a "krug", from which you can drink from. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> It has a slot and can actually be used as a weapon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> One Moderator says that there are more of this kind of item in the game ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

Hm, how do I translate "Krug" into English ? ... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

New official contest:
From: http://eng.sacred-game.com/news.php...&action=show&news_id=283

This is your chance to introduce your ideas to the game of Sacred Underworld and to win a copy of Underworld, which will be hand-signed by the developers. (Shipment to the winners will be effected upon release)

All you have to do is send in your ideas for side quests. In order to have a chance to win one of the prizes you will have to abide by some simple guidelines:

* Write the quest dialogues.
* Describe the position of the quest NPC (non-player character), whom the player has to meet in order to start the quest.
* Decide the reward to be given when the quest is completed.
* Explain what the hero will have to accomplish. Everything is possible, from killing a dangerous opponent, through collecting items or delivering an item to saving a damsel in distress - the decision is yours!
* Your quest description should be as detailed and as complete as possible and it should include:
* An opening sequence.
* A storyline.
* A solution at the end.
* It is also up to you where the quest will take the player.
* Overall, the entire quest should not be too long, or too complex.

As Underworld will feature new areas and a new main quest with many new events, we will not be able to guarantee that we will be able to adopt and implement all your suggestions on an unedited basis.

Nonetheless, everyone who participates will have a chance to win, regardless of whether the quest can be implemented or not.

Please send your completed quest suggestions to:
mailto:quests_underworld@ascaron.com

Final date for submission is 02.01.2005.

Prize winners will be notified by end of January 2005.

We look forward to your entries and we wish all participants the best of luck!

Kind regards,
The Sacred Team

There is some kind of irritation about a "Christmas Special". Bits of it werre shown on German TV - like a Seraphim in Christmas dress <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - but nothing else - speculation abroad ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" /> (To quote a Discworld title "Witches Abroad" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> . )

Well, in this thread someone reports - and another one actually posts 2 posts with pictures and pictures - that he entered the Sacred Ladder today and was shown a Seraphim in actual Christmas dress ... but no-one knows how this was triggered, and why only in Ladder, nowhere ele, as it seems (no other reports yet).

Please leave a posting here if you see them (the chars in Christmas dressings) as well !

Alrik.

By the way, he could see the chars only once ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/exclamation.gif" alt="" />
