In combat, characters will occasionally make quips after certain actions or when they kill an enemy like "I'll yield to none" or "Greet the reaper for me". In the field, characters will sometimes comment about items they pick up like "Boring", "Junk", "This again?" when you pick up random junk, or "Nice!", "Lucky find" when you pick up keys or rare items.

For some reason, whenever I'm playing a custom character, I never get any incidental dialogue like this in or out of combat. I looked through the script files to see if maybe I could find the ones that control these kinds of incidental dialogues, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. I just want to figure out why my custom characters are always mute. Is there a way to fix my custom characters being mute all the time?

Another question I have concerns reflection dialogue. Whenever I choose a response during reflection dialogue, my character's response always immediately gets cut off by one of my companions. This happens both with origin characters and custom characters. Is there a way to prevent this?
