Good point - in a contested roll which it should be, the wizard has it worse off. Haven't really considered that... maybe bonus action shove isn't as bad as I thought about it.
What are your thoughts on drinking potions, throwing oil flasks or even throwing poisoned daggers into an enemy as a bonus action? I'm kinda scared you can do some stupid combos such as paralyzing someone with a poisoned dagger followed by an automatically failed saving throw on disintegrate for example.
Edit to respond to edit: yes, but that only proves it's important to be inventive and not powerful. If you know what you want wish spell is great... if you want to murder someone that powerful any DM worth his salt will say a wish spell can't work but a non-detection spell cast on an assassin will do the job just fine
