If these are all, that also means that these are all possible party members. In my opinion this whole concept of origin character is horrible. The focus should be your own character, without loosing story quality because you didn't choose a pre-made one.
Yup I agree its horrible but its necessary evil, coz all the voice overs/lines and whatnot, it costs money, imagine to pay to voice/mocap and whatnot 24(not sure if its 24) races, they would announce bankruptcy very soon.. XD
