Would also like to see Paladins needing to recite the oath they wish to embody, or an Eldritch Knight having to complete a quest line from a Wizard to gain their subclass abilities, or a Beast Master Ranger needing to track down a pet of their choosing. There are so many different ways to incorporate specific class content to make the game feel more immersive.

We had class specific strongholds in BG2. Hopefully there will be more class specific content in BG3.

This is why I am thinking we will be forced into one patron per archetype I mean if there was not going to add any warlock specific quests it would be easy to do but if there are adding in quests to do with your warlock pack you are going to be limited to just one patron per archetype still a man can dream though a man can dream


That's sort of the Catch 22 of it all. A massive list of potential patrons vs a smaller list with more fleshed out content. I can see the value of both, but I land on the side of more fleshed out content/quests.
