Disagreement between who ? those waiting for a BG game, those waiting the new larian game, those waiting for the new D&D game.
BG1+2 fans, most or all of whom played and formed opinions of those games before BG3 was announced. Sorting people into groups based on their opinions doesn't change the fact that there are differing opinions.

There has been a lot of feedback, some people agree on some things, a lot of people agree on some things, but there is no universal consensus, unless you are defining away people who don't agree with you as not being BG fans. I need no mantra; it would make my job easier if there was a clear consensus. Regardless, I'm not involved in the game design, so the only thing that effects is how precise the feedback collected is.
