favourites:
- Planescape Torment
- The Witcher series
- Deus Ex (the original game)
- Kotor 2
- Disco Elysium ( true successor to PST)

anticipated:
- Baldurs gate 3
- Pathfinder: Wrath of the Rightous
- Cyberpunk 2077

Finding my favourites is rather easy: Which games did I play several times and enjoyed them every time.
I did finish BG1+2+ToB, but when I tried to play it later, I quit at some point because I was bored. I already knew the story and the quests. So it was just pre buffing, click enemies to death, rest and repeat.
I like those favourites because they are quite philosophical sometimes, making me think about stuff from the real world sometimes. Playing them again some years later can give you some new thoughts because you and the world have changed in the meantime.

I hope the anticipated games have a high replay value because you have so many different choices. In BG you could chose to do a quest or not and sometimes to finish it good or evil, but non of this influenced the outcome of the main quest.
