i agree in principles Tadas.
but i think the point is to make that an option with an alternative.
For example in old games, youll always roll till you get good stats BECAUSE theres no Point Buy.
If you can enable point buy, you can skip the rolling process and are thus not incentivized to cheese.
Now, in the actual game, yeah, ill always try to minmax my character SOMEHOW even within a dumb build.

and why would you even make th eargument here? Dice rolling till you get "right "result isnt skill.
hte point here is that if theres the ability to get better at the expense of the game actually beeing fun or complex, that option should be removed.
Let me apply this argument in context.
when in a fightin ggame, you hve an OP character, everyone naturally will gravitate towards that character. In principle the game would still work because everyone would play the same character.
but thats just less fun than having a full roster, thus balancing the character means a better video game.
