I have a question, which I am unsure has been talked about already .. or yet.

In essence, I have beaten BG1 and am in the process of beating BG2. In the past, we could import the save file from BG1 to BG2.

Now I believe I read that BG3 is going to take place approx 100 years after BG2.

My question is, should I save my BG2 save files in case we can import them ala DA:2? I think it was that .. where your choices in DA:O affected certain things and people you met in DA:2. Or because of such a long year gap, BG3 is going to start as a clean slate so to speak, so it's ok to remove my BG1 and BG2 stuff?

I don't believe there will be any save imports from BG 2 to BG 3. You can keep those saves if you want, but different company, 20 years later, different underlying rules system, 100 years after in-universe... seems unlikely that save transfer will matter.

Ah fair enough. I was thinking even if it took data on what happened before (like if the Bhallspawn was good or bad, who lived and died etc). I think I will save the file just in case. /thumbsup

No, they are using the Wizards of the Coast cannon Bhaalspawn, Abdel Adrian ( https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Abdel_Adrian ).

Yeah, WotC had to come up with something as far as what happened because those characters were around in the world. If it's any consolation, he and the last remaining Bhaalspawn fight and the victor (not stated) has their soul shredded to become Bhaal's reincarnation.

Could be worse, they could`ve used the Abdel Adrian of the 2000s (horrid) books.
