Does anyone know what sub-classes will be available for early access? More specifically Wizard sub-classes.

sub classes are a major part of 5e, simmilar to pathfinder, not like in odler editions.

you cannot realy NOT have subclasses

Here is a link to the BG3 wiki:

BG3 wiki

https://baldursgate3.wiki.fextralife.com/Classes (if problem with link)

These are the planned sub-classes for launch. Notice that some have links to incomplete pages and others have no link at all. I am guessing that the ones with broken links will be ready for early access. Looks like Wizard is covered for early access.

Side note: For Rogue, it has been said that thief and trickster will be ready for early access. Now assassin has a link, which makes me think that it may also be ready for early access. Similarly the Warlock Arch-fey has not been confirmed for early access, yet has a link in place. The cleric too has more links than confirmed early access sub-classes.

Early access is Fighter, Ranger, Wizard, Warlock, Rogue, and Cleric.

Launch is everything on that page.

I would guess that more come with DLCs as they are coded.

Thanks guys! That wiki page is a great help. One last thing, the Half-Drow race they have is from Sword Coast Adventures? It's not in the PHB.

Must be, It´s the only half elf with drow descent in the official books of WOTC.

The race features include "cantrips" and "darkvision", so it fits (I assume it´s drow magic, i.e-> Dancing Lights, faerie fire, darkness) and it says "two ability scores of player choice increase by 1". I hope the fact that they don´t include the +2 CHA and skill versatility is a mistake.

D&D Beyond has the Half-Drow with +2 to Charisma. On the BG3 demo, Drow didn't have a + to Dexterity either. Races aren't finished yet, just keep your fingers crossed.

I'm curious as to how they'll implement darkvision in the games, if they are going to do so, that is. In BG Infravision was useless and in the gameplay demo I don't remember it making any difference.
Superior darkvision from Drows in 5e is a fantastic feature for Rogues. If they don't implement it, it would be better that Drows don't have sunlight sensitivity as well.

After further research I found this on PC Gamer:
https://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gat...-with-6-classes-and-5-origin-characters/

The Wiki lists all of the PHB sub-classes, and has a video saying 8 base classes for ea. According to this article, there will only be a couple sub-classes for each class for EA. And we know there will only be 6 base classes for ea. Which is fine, knowing helps me design a characters to play. Early Access classes and sub-classes:

Cleric: Life, Light, Trickery
Fighter: Battle Master, Eldritch Knight
Ranger: Beast Master, Hunter
Rogue: Arcane Trickster, Thief
Warlock: Fiend, Great Old One
Wizard: Abjuration, Evocation

Oh and on a side note, no multi-classing in early access either.
