I think that Larian does a wonderfull job here in general.

Nonetheless there is one thing that makes me think that BG3 will not be a real BG and that is the Party size. I know that this opinion is not for the mass of the people out there but i'm an active PNP player as well and for a good group Composition you just need at least 5 roles to be fuillfilled and that is Frontliner(Warrior, Barbarian, Paladin), Arcan class(Sourcerer or Warlock), Priest for Healing, Rouge for Stealth and Lockpicking and a Nature Char(Druid, Hunter) for Nature stuff.

To protect the second Line of Characters another Frontliner is good as well what makes a Group of 6 Optimal.

Whenever i played a CRPG (That i more Like to call "Party RPG") that has only 4 Character slots i feel to be pinned to one specific group composition that is more or less a bad compromise and forces me to decisions that i would't take if i had the choise (eg Dual Classing to get the missing role filled out).

Even if that sounds like i don't like what Larian did here, that's not what i try to say. I Love what they are tring to achive here. In My Opinion this is exactly what is missing in the Party RPG Genre. A Game bringing this genre to the presence. I Just think it could be even better if they would consider a different partysize.

(bythe way i just don't care if its turn based or pausable realtime)
