Neither was there. I thought I saw a new ship near the turtles but there wasn't a way to get to it - jumps and teleports were blocked. I don't even remember any soul jars in the tower; just one of the tyrant armor pieces in a stone coffin. Unless it was in the room with the well - I did neglect to go in there.
