For me, I actually did burnout on D:OS 2, but I really liked the actual gameplay. I think it's because its always harder for me with games that I don't know the game mechanics and lore going into it. I still couldn't tell you much about the lore of DOS or anything about the classes, really. However, I've been a D&D nerd for a long time; I know 5E very well (bought and read the PHB, MM, and DMG), so I already have a great understanding of the race/class system, feats, abilities, spells, etc etc etc. Because of that it makes sense to me...whereas a game like DOS2 I didn't know the 'monster manual' going into it and none of the numbers follow a 'guide' like D&D 5E does, they make no logical sense. Idk, maybe its just me
