It looks like we're getting a release date on the 18th of August, though. I'm down with that, allows me to plan for it.

No problem. Release when it's "done", not after some arbitrary deadline. As much as I', hyped for this game, I'm shifting my focus for Cyberpunk 2077 which is likely to be released (non-EA) before BG3.

It is the wisest decision. It will be a hot holiday season for gamers.

I DEMAND A HYPE REFUND!

Looking forward to the 18th regardless to see what the big news is and maybe see some new content and maybe some spec requirements to go with that release date?!

Time for Wasteland 3, then.

Pathfinder gets its turn based mode release the same day, plus Wasteland 3 right around the corner from that. Dead Matter is also out around the same time. It's honestly kind of a relief as I had too many games to play in such a short period of time. Granted BG3 would have taken priority, now it doesn't have to compete

I'm most curious about BG3, as that seems the game that aims to push the boundaries quite a bit, apparently... which is why I'm somewhat dissapointed by the news. But there are well enough games to play (old and new) for sure. My plan initially was to hold back on party-based RPG stuff, as to not burn myself out on those. However, with this news, I might change that plan.

All good gives me time to finish Dragon Age Inquisition - how did i never finish this game !! - oh thats right I had a crap setup ....latest SSD & decent gaming rig - loading times so fast & 1080p at 144hz + is unbelievably good ...I never knew what all the fuss was about - now i get it !
Take your time Larian I want a masterpiece even in EA !!!

At least now we have some date. Refreshing BG3 page was a bit annoying. Also I like the statement "it's just around the corner" - maybe first half of September? we will see.
