Everytime I remove civil points (Lucky Charm) from my main character (Lohse) I gain a free talent point to spend.

I tried it on other companion but none of them worked. Seems to affect the main character. And also it seems to only work if you do it quickly before the "Woosh" magic mirror sound effect plays.

Now I have 4 spare talent points mocking me to use them.

This is a known issue when a character has the Devourer's Eminence leggings equipped, and removes one or more skill points in the respec mirror. At least on PC when removing combat skill points, it does not need to be done quickly. Unequipping the leggings first will avoid giving the character any additional talent points.

If you have the Steam version, as well, there is a (Windows) D:OS 2 save editor that could be used to remove the excess talent points.

So there's no way I could remove the extra points unless I have the Steam version? Oh well.

ngl I will probably going to spend the points for fun.

Unfortunately I don't know of any way to remove the points in-game on the Switch, and Steam syncing would be the only way to get the latest save onto a PC and back.
