Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Reciting Spells in BG3 - Like Ancient Latin?

The verbal component of spells is usually rather short, I see no reason why there couldn't just be a short latin phrase along with the beginning of a cast.

Shield; "Ego protegat!"
Sacred Flame; "Ignis conflans!"

The chanting was nice for ambient sound, but it was just a neat way to present the verbal component of a spell.
