Well, it would be superb if we have an official translation to PT-BR. Years ago the brazilian community was very active in doing fan made translations for this kind of games (games in pt-br years ago where rare), we've got some great fanmade translations of Baldurs gate I and II, although it took years to be completed. The new generation of brazilian players are too occupied with games officially translated and they don't get well with companies that don't translate newer games. This is really sad for old players like myself, that don't have any free time to start a fan translation project (which would be a pleasure to make happen), and love with all their hearts the Baldurs Gate and DnD universe. It'll be okay for me to play it in English, but I can name a good few friends of mine that will not play only because this is not in pt-br. Luckily Dnd is getting bigger in Brazil, for the new edition boos are being translated, maybe you guys from Larian give us a chance in a near future.

Raze, from Larian, in a post above, gave an exemplo of a fanmade translation for Dos 2 to pt-br, just to update this info, the project was abandoned, as the fans could not find free time in their adult lives to dedicate for the project.
