Sorry if this has been posted before. Im new to DD and running into a couple problems.

I have d/l the latest patch just was trying to figure out if I should have d/l the older patches first?

Right now Im having a problem with Necron's (spelling) Garden. I bought the key but it say's "door locked" also there are a couple quests that I have finished yet it doesnt clear them or even give me the option to discuss it with the npc's.

No, you do not need to apply any older patches first.

The key to Nericon's Garden can open the graveyard, thus destroying it (don't recall if that was fixed in the patch). To get another copy;
Lost Items - guide and directory of inventory files

to bypass the gate;
FIX for the Missing Catacombs Portal
or
Teleporting Anywhere, via hex editor


Which quests are not clearing? Some like the Tingalf/Marcus/wagon quest can get involved. Search the Help/Tips/Tricks forum; there may be a known problem/solution, or there may be something you are missing.

Thanks Raze. That would be my problem with the garden. I used the key on the cemetary.

As for the quests I guess the only one I that isn't clearing is the "Harvest Disater" with Hugh. I've killed the guy that was poisoning the stuff but when I talk to Hugh it doesn't say anything about it.

The guy you killed should have dropped a key, though (Tipsix, in a cave with poison barrels, right?). Huge should tell you to find where the key fits (room in cellar of Blue Boar inn).

Yeah he dropped a key and I got it (I think) Hugh never said anything but will try again.

BTW, especially for that quest, the quest log can display more information than you are given directly (through conversations, etc.), as well as hints on what to do next.
