You are only looking at the numbers of a (fairly unknown) kickstarter project without having a creative vision of a potential project.
Luckily I do creative work, where ideas often collide with money... and I can tell you that sometimes, the idea wins if you believe it.
It might not really be as feasible as you say, which is not in my best interest; mine are creative speculations.
If we just look at the numbers we would all be mathematicians, surveyors and bankers ... and we wouldn't even have BG3 and a thousand other things...

How do you think ideas are born?
With a moron who goes to his boss and says: "Hey look what I found on internet! It would be cool to think we can create and sell it for BG3 too, right? Let's try to do a Comarketing?"

What I claim is that: integrating a real Dice connected with a role-playing game, in which instead of representing it as a graphic effect, roll on your desk, that would be very cool... and VERY NEVER SEEN
