Yes, but once you enter TB mode, can you then freely exit TB mode without having taken any actions or having advanced time? In other words, can this be realistically used as a way to pause the game (stop time from advancing) and allow you to leave your computer and go do something else?
To my understanding, the time stops for your group, the encounters and pnjs at a walking distance of you. The rest of the map keeps on doing its thing, like guards continue to do their rounds and so on. But I guess, when they enter your turn base bubble, they too get forced into turn based mode. So yeah, I guess you can just go do some other stuff and come back. Your game will be frozen where you left it.
Unless you are in multiplayer of course. If other players are not in your direct vicinity, they can do whatever they like.
But that's a good question to ask I think:
QUESTION: In multiplayer, when one of the players is entering turn based mode, what happens to the others? Do they enter it too if they are nearby? What if they are far away? What happens to them?
