Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Half-Orc and Dragonborn race will be playable?

As far as i know from news and videos, in the EA of the game, 9-10 races will be playable, but if i doesn't wrong there is more races to be announced and maybe added in the final game (or in future free DLC content). So my question is:

Does anyone have some rumors, leak or supposition about the Half-Orc race and Dragonborn race will be playable at the final launch of the game? or if they are present in the game are only present as NPC or enemies?

We don't know yet. They said when asked that they intend to implement all of the main classes from PHB, but gave a specific measured response that the races revealed so far are all they're talking about for now. There will be more, but at this point it is pure speculation on anyone's part which other ones will be yet added.
