I don't think they've said. I do however hope that they show two rolls - for the same reason that they show a die rolling animation before it settles: it adds tension and anticipation to the roll, and seeing how good or bad the roll could have been without advantage or disadvantage makes the roll more memorable than simply incorporating the advantage or disadvantage into the DC.
