So from what I've read, early access is about a year before "expected" game release. If I purchase and play early access <--Extremely excited for, will I have to purchase the whole game again when its released? has there been any suggested retail price for early access that I just haven't stumbled upon? and are there any perks other than getting to experience the game before those fools who wait for the whole game to drop?

There is no separate purchases for Early access and full release. You are paying retail price ($60) for the game and are getting access to an early build of the game.

No "official perks," but you get to experience 2021's Game of the Year before a lot of other people do.

It's full price for early access game version, and we get updates for free, until becomes release version (and beyond, but that's off topic)

As for the perks, as far as I know, nothing that won't be included in the release version as well. Unless someone considers a perk the ability to give useful (or not so useful) early feedback and having an (optional) tester contribution. These parts are a bit scary to me, because early player feedback & pressure can lead to bad changes as well, though should be mostly useful if managed well.
