I totally agree with your few exemples. Jumps arez totally broken, I hate that I can put my hand and my bow in fire to create fire bow and once gain, surfaces in way to important in the gameplay.
My fear comes true : this game absolutely look like DoS 3 way more than D&D/BG game.
