With as little spoilers as possible, I'm going to describe this infinite gold exploit. I feel like it might even be intended in a way, I have to imagine I'll hit a wall eventually. Please report the post if this isn't where it goes, or remove it if it shouldn't be posted.
When you get to a certain point where you have to chase a chicken in a contest, you can rig the track by dragging objects and rotating them to only give the chicken one path. Every race you win is 75 gold. I've done it about 5 times now with no signs of the NPC stopping. The only reason I feel like it is intended is because the crates in the race area are the only things moveable within the keep. Everything else flags you as stealing.

Eventually an event happens that stops the gold from flowing. Good padding while you can.
