Hi Swen, Nick and the rest of Larian's team who hopefully read this.
I've decided to use this thread to summarize my findings I've penned down during playing.
I am playing EA on PC - Steam.
Fantastic game so far and really want to help to make it better. If you guys have suggestions how I should give my feedback please let me know.

- Double tags for race and subrace in character screens
- During character creation and in menu: unclear sentence of “proficiency bonus +2”
- Cantrip: Blade ward: how much resistance to melee attack? Maybe good to clarify
- Maybe consider making “throw” a bonus action? I noticed that I prefer using attacks or spells/cantrips instead of throw resulting in the fact that I almost never use “throw” in combat. It is a cool mechanic and I think people will use it more when it is a bonus action.
- Spell: “Expeditious retreat” not working as intended. When cast, it doubles the movement distance but in the next turn when spell is still active the movement distance is normal again and to initiate dash cost a “normal” action instead of a bonus action.
- Cantrip: “Acid splash” description misses a space “2mExplode”
- Advantage due to true strike isn’t shown as text when hovering on an enemy (it is applied)
- The dices (picture of it) aren’t shown at the tooltip for burning hands like they are shown for the other spells like witchbolt of thunderwave
- Not all interactable items are shown when pressing Alt. (The buckets full of fish, or wooden barrels at the beginning of chapter 1 for example)
- During level up there is a text: “maximum hit points per level” which is confusing for me because below are the new total hitpoints shown. What is missing is the actual number of hit points added per level. So at character creations I think it should be: “Maximum hit point per level: 6” (for wizards)
Hit points: (the new total)
- Consider rewarding xp on successful dicerolls, or at least for successful dicerolls that prevent a battle. From a min-maxing perspective it is at this moment better to kill everything for the XP, and you get loot. I feel there should be a reward when choosing the options to avoid battles.
