Again I'm not talking about every enemy needs re-spawning... But maybe a small area or patch of land where enemies re-spawn per map. Please give us the option at least to grind for a little exp or money if we choose to do so. Because as it stands right now, combat is the only way to get exp...so if I cleverly use my guile and wit to talk my way out of a fight situation...I am actually WEAKER for it because I get 0 exp. Plus playing a video game with fixed exp and gold sounds awful to begin with. Nothing wrong with options. Please consider it.

You actually get EXP from quests and exploration

Perhaps enemies could respawn after a certain amount of long rest cycles. That way the player still has time to make use of a cleared area, but it also gives the player a chance to make extra cash/find extra materials. It would also provide a sense of a living world as more creatures return to an area after time.

They should really give exp equal to what the combat would have given if you talk your way through a situation.

I don't think this would fit in the design context of the game. Unless there's some pocket dimension a wizard made for whatever reason or something similarly extremely out of the way. Enemies should stay dead. Grind is useless on its own. I've not found any shortage of gold. Fill up those pockets with loot!

I haven't got past the beach yet, but I'd like to see random encounters when traveling between areas, just like Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, and also other areas to explore that aren't necessarily related to quests, but are just on the way, like BG 1 and 2 where you'll find random monsters to take out. Also, is there a chance to be interrupted when doing a long rest? Because that happens in both BG1/2 and D&D.
