No problems guys. On a side note, I tried launching on my gaming laptop and the same issue popped up. So it appears my workaround is on a per system basis. I will have to repeat these steps to get it working on my laptop, but of course ultimately them fixing the issue would be preferred. I figured I would share this in case others encounter it prior to them patching the launcher.
Update: I can confirm after removing 2FA and adding it back, the issue resolved on my laptop just like the desktop. It's a pain, but such is life of EA.
