Loving the game!
Some feedback and suggestions:
* Map is not easily read. I have stopped using it as boundaries of where I can and cannot go have not been clear to me yet. Directional orientation is not immediately apparent.
* Make mapping of all keyboard components for key-mapping available (e.g. function buttons, num lock buttons)
* Highlight each character's possible movement area
* Create shortcuts for normal actions and combat actions
* Reading books does not feel exploratory so far. A passage of awesome indicative letters and books is less interesting if there is no context attached. DND has flair about the type of book and the context for a passage in a book, this kind of detail would be valuable. I'm assuming that more books with various lore will be added after early access.
* Character dialogue should be able to provide questions and statements from multiple characters (or that you could pick the main conversational character). Often the person that is scouting or sneaking is not the person you want to be outspoken in a group.
* It is far too easy to attack right next to a character you want to attack because you were slightly off from selecting them.
* Additional detail for spells would be valuable in the spell description. Range and Duration and such.
* How do you stop concentrating on a spell? Wasn't very clear.
* Switching between character view and combat overview would be valuable. Line of sight is not always very clear from the character's perspective.
* Some indication that you have partial or full coverage and how that affects AC would be a nice combat addition.
Will post more and thanks so much for this thoughtful process and this amazing game you are sharing with the world!
