I am having an issue on the game load up. I get to the screen with the loading bar after the Brand screens on game startup where the loading freezes after like 15% and gives the following error:

Failed to copy file
\\?\C:Users\phara\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate
3\PlayerProfiles\Pharaoh\Savegames\Story\AutoSave_0\AutoSave_0.png.tmp
to
\\?\C:Users\phara\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate
3\PlayerProfiles\Pharaoh\Savegames\Story\AutoSave_0\AutoSave_0.png.tmp
Access is denied.



Edit: I found a Work around for anyone with this issue.
To deal with this issue right click the game in your steam folder, go into properties and in the Updates date uncheck the Cloud Synchronization for baldur's gate 3.
Then go into the file folder:
\\?\C:Users\phara\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate
3\PlayerProfiles\Pharaoh\Savegames\Story and delete the AutoSave_0 folder

Some users have reported that Windows Defender made issues for them. Try disabling active protection in its settings, and read through the comments in this thread and see if that works for you?

I found a workaround shortly after posting, but I lose all my save data in process, as I deleted them. I didn't get to test yours, sorry! o.o
