I would love even if they just implemented some type of console view to see the rolls in real time, similar to how Neverwinter Nights did it, and similarly could show resistances or ADV/DIS in this console.
This. Exactly this. I grew up on NWN and I loved it's transparency. It let you know exactly how far off you were or why your damage sucked.
