I know, "5e rules" and all that, but so far this doesn't work for me.

Combat is mostly reduced to spamming arbitrary abilities, I can't even tell which class my toons are, because the abilities are so bland and the occasional "ah, I can push that guy down and kill him" doesn't really save the day.

What this game needs is more "in your face" class differentiation, like D:OS2 had. Much more specialization, this would help combat as well.

Think "Duplo" vs. "Lego". "Duplo" works much better in games.
