I'll also throw my hat in that I whole-heartedly believe this post was made in bad faith, and that Larian's moderation decisions concerning it are also 'questionable' in their own right.
It's an outright troll post, one of several threads made in the same day, and kept getting bumped up to the top of the forum by the OP, which would warrant immediate address by any even halfway competent moderator. Shame we got none of those, so let's just keep bumping it! Trolling and questionable taste for everyone! It fits the tone of the era, at least.
