I think any of the seven races should be playable as a player character race. It makes sense logically, although the different voices would be difficult to do. Then again, if you played an orc you wouldn't need voices, just some grunting. The mage as its own race sounds intriguing as well, since then the cool mage robe avatars could be yours!
Oh oh what about ridable horses? Mounts? WINGS?!!! Oh man, I so wanted to see my little human avatar have some wings after the Council of Seven cutscene into the Wastelands. I was sorely disappointed though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />
