I'd even go a step further, and allow for an optional mode where you can roll your own dice at your desk in RL and input your roll into the game. Yes, it would be completely cumbersome and slow everything down, but speed isn't the point of tabletop. I could see my friends and I having a great time playing in a party together and doing our own rolls- obviously honor system is important but if you are just playing single player or with a close group of friends, and it were an optional input mode, who cares? Rolling dice is really friggin' fun.
