Great post! I just wanted to add that I agree with you on Astarion. I LOVE him and his snarkiness, and all that. I really thought Id hate him,after the reveal videos (Vampire spawn, "yawn" Im done with vampires TBH) and would NEVER have him in a party but he is quickly becoming one of my favorites and I could see him being a must have in all playthroughs.
