So the Eldritch Invocations are one of my favorite aspects of the Warlock class. They give the Warlock a lot of power at different stages, and allow for a lot of customization.

The way for the customization part to stay, is in D&D, the PHB states "Additionally, when you gain a level in this class, you can choose one of the invocations you know and replace it with another invocation that could learn at that level."

That part is important, but does not seem to be implemented in BGIII. Is this a planned change? If not, could this aspect be changed to be more in-line with the rules? This becomes more important in the later levels.

For example, you pick the invocation that gives you mage armor. By level 5 or so, you will probably have better armor, something more enticing will be unlocked, or simply you would like to try out the darkness/devil's sight combo.

Loving the game so far!

I have not actually found a working Eldritch Invocation as of yet. They all seem to be there but not do anything.

Speak with animals at will works and the one that give you proficiency in persuasion and deception works.

I find I can coast on utility invocations at lower levels until i need to boost eldritch blast.

Well Agonizing Blast is a must as it is and then I took Repelling Blast, which works very well. IMO, with what we have now with only one short rest and what amounts to 3/4 of Warlock implementation and level 4 cap - really need to put all the eggs into Eldritch Blast, there is just no space for nonsense invocations now. All more considering Wizard is freakishly powerful with its silly surface spawning cantrips that are on par with Eldritch Blast at this level if not stronger actually.

At least Warlock has Dark One's Own Blessing, which is really powerful at that level too, but when it comes to gunning things down - Wizard is just much stronger at level 4.

The one that gives you Disguise Self at will works too. I'd call it by it's name but I forgot and it's not like it's actually noted anywhere on my character sheet, apparently

And the one that gives bonuses to persuasion and deception is Beguiling Influence.

Warlock is my favorite table top class. So good for role playing.
