I hate being showered with junk like candles, plates, cups and whatnot at every turn when it's difficult to quickly assess their value. Then you end up clicking on "loot all" and your inventory is a huge mess of worthless garbage. Sorting and selling that is not a fun part of the game.
The only +1 and magic items so far have been at vendors. This should be the other way around. Finding a hidden treasure or looting it from powerful enemies feels much more rewarding than just selling junk and buying a magic item from a merchant.
But overall I'm glad the magic items seem rare.
