This is somewhat related to my earlier post about jumping woes, but having played a bit more I've found that height levels in general seem to be a bit flaky.

For example, when I sneak across a room using the rafters, creatures on the ground can see me just as easily as if I was down on their level. It's a little darker up there so chances at hiding are slightly better, but judging from the red cones everyone below is always staring up at the ceiling.

Also, map markers for creatures are very confusing, especially in combat, and especially since the camera only pans horizontally, but not vertically. Looking for a target that is above me is a serious pain since I can't get the camera to go where I need it.
