Actually its my mistake,i tend to rush when i think of ideas and so i should have said that:
the giant leech attatches to your feet and so your feet get paralysed,but your arms are free to swing at it and thus you can attack it with ranged or melee weapons,or even magic.
I think that it would be ok for more than one leech to attacth itself to you,maybe up to a maximum of five.
In a few days(when i can get online) i will post my ideas for my demon and dragon monsters.
