So I've had one playthrough of the game so far and maybe I'll get my own question answered later down the line, but is there actually any incentive given for us to side with the goblins and attack the grove? From what I experienced, the only reason to do that is just to be evil, I wasn't presented with any way it could actually benefit me. It's probably even against my self interest since it would mean cutting off a potential way to deal with the mindflayer tadpole. Has anyone else been presented with a good reason to take this route? If not then Larian should probably find a way to fit in a better justification. Both for evil characters who want to be rid of the tadpole and for those who want to control it.
