I've made 4 characters so far and all of them have been able to jump the gap on the outside of the ship. It wasn't until I rolled a weakling Tiefling Warlock and stuck with the default Strength of 8 that it became an issue. He can't jump that far and I don't know how to proceed. I'm still trying but it's looking like a re-roll of the character may be in order.
