I am still very much enjoying the game, despite it's many bugs. But obviously there wouldn't be currently 47 pages of feedback if the game was perfect lol. I have the stadia version of the game so everything I say is based on playing both on my controller+chromecast as well as my PC via Stadia. I have a stable 300mbps internet connection, if anyone was wondering about that affecting things.

I really appreciate that there are options to change the keyboard and controller layouts. However, the defaults are pretty awful. mainly that there is no quick-save default press assigned, or camera turning options defaulted on keyboard. Also, the stadia controller layout is just a mess. It takes more time just to take actions in the overworld and combat than it does to actually play through the story.

The "load times" for textures can be jarring. suddenly things will be in decent resultion that were not moments ago. This is probably a server issue but needs to be addressed to allow for things to run smoothly.

Same goes for general input latency. even fast paced GPS games are more forgiving than this game is in terms of input lag. One improperly registered click and your combat movement is gone and your player is in the other direction.
Granted, you can just re-load your last save if things look dire, but loads take a considerable amount of time. I understand an support the game being D&Difficult 1000%. honestly reviewers complaining about it being difficult is what sealed my buying it even in EA. We just need to clean up the optimization of these things for a more satisfying and less frustrating experience. For myself, frustration doesn't come from a missed hit on an enemy, because it's a proposed mechanic. it's from elements that affect the game that shouldn't be there.

When using the controller, it is far too easy to accidentally strike up a conversation with members of your party while trying to search through myriads of empty containers or open doors.

Certain tooltips in character creation cite classes that aren't in the game yet. I.E. charisma says it's a paladin and sorcerer main stat. not a big deal, just a slightly confusing thing to have in there as of right now.

Not enough auto save points? I'm not 100% sure how I feel about saying this. on one hand, I think the game is so immersive that I forget to save and I'll have to spend 20 minutes backtracking like this is 1997 and I'm playing a Final Fantasy game on my PS1. On the other hand, this game is chess not checkers and you need to pay attention. part of that is remembering to save your game.
As a solution, incorporating a "difficulty" setting in where the game will auto save before potential combat scenarios or not may make sense to some people. Some people probably want the full D&D TPK experience. Some people probably want a shiney pretty RPG that's fun and not actively trying to murder them at every turn. We need that balance and I think auto saves can help in a way.

Speaking of murder every turn, it seems like there's a LOT of combat compared to a traditional/normal D&D tabletop session. and yet we have the same HP and spell slots we would at the table. Maybe it's me not taking full advantage of extra skills, etc to keep my party "ready to go" but camping out in a random spot and taking time for that whole scenario to pass so that I can get a couple spell slots just feels like time spent for times sake. even just inventing an extra potion that will give you back a spell slot (yes I know wizards can do their 1/day reset) would be a little helpful. maybe I need more scrolls? idk anyways just a thought.

that's all I have now. thank you for the awesome game!! I know I complained a little but I still love it!!! worth the 60$ even with it being rough around the edges.
