i have a few questions regarding the morningstar, volo (and the chicken... and the adventurers) aswell as respecing and multiclassing

first off, what do i take when leveling up to get proficiency with the morningstar? i want shadowheart to use a morningstar but none of the weapon mastery types give proficiency with it (i save scummed) so im kinda confused...

also where does volo, the chicken in the goblin camp and the adventurers you meet in the fallen village go? the adventurers seemingly disappeared into nothing, volo just dissappeared sometime during my fight with the whole goblin camp and the chicken disappeared after i climbed up the wall in the camp to kill the last goblin in the tower. do they go anywhere or did i luck out?

can i respec? i didnt know you could choose what to level up before level 4 (im new and the button to change feat was small), the auto thing made shadowheart a trickster in subclass...

and lastely can you multiclass currently? and if so what is the demands to get a wizard to multiclass with a rogue?

In 5e you usually cannot learn new languages, skills, weapon and armour proficiencies after level one when you level up besides adding some subclasses, feats or multiclassing. Your skills, languages and weapon/armour/tool proficiences are the ones you get on level one (with the exceptions previously mentioned)

The only feasible thing I could see to allow you to use martial weapons with Shadowheart, a trickery cleric of Shar, is to pick the "Weapon Master" feat at level 4 (you have to forfeit an ability upgrade for this but at least you can give shadowheart one point of dexterity so she does not have a penalty) or multiclass her when it´s available.

She is a cleric of Shar and, unlike other classes, clerics chose their subclass at level 1, so it´s fixed when you meet her.
