Since I plan to roll an assassin on my first playthrough, I was wondering how larian is going to adopt the 5e rules in the game. The assassin has several combat-related bonuses (Assassination/Death Strike) that are easily implemented. But the mid-levels are where the assassin gets Infiltration expert at lvl 9, which, in tabletop, lets you "create false identities for yourself. You must spend seven days and 25 gp to establish the history, profession, and affiliations for an identity" and at level 13 you get Imposter, which entails "the ability to unerringly mimic another person's speech, writing, and behavior".
For obvious reasons, this is really unpractical to implement in a game, where the precautions of copying another NPC would entail an enormeous amount of hours just exploring let alone implementing the possible relations between the various combinations of NPCs and identities you might steal.
So, do we know any info on how this is going to be implemented? Will assassins get some other sort of social perks, or will they get some combat related spells, like they did in 3.5, like darkness, invisibility and such?
