There's a paralyzed tiefling, that tells you all about why you don't take potions from this person. Wanted power, ended up as strong as a Bugbear, Fearless, and Paralyzed.
Can't really complain if you ignored (or missed) the warnings.
I don't think anyone's really complaining? I'm fine with the debuff and shrugged it off, but it would be pretty lame if there were no more dialogue or choices involving it.
