Um you know you can just pick whatever skintone you want right? Would it not make more sense for you to complain over the character creator allowing you to create a blue human? Black humans can still easily be present on the sword coast because they traveled there, perhaps because their background as a sailor? Or they have a parent that was a merchant from a far away land. But blue humans, thats a lot more rare. Perhaps a witch cursed them, or its somehow part of their warlock pact. Its still possible within the games lore but way more uncommon than having a dark skintone.

The Sword Coast region is a major trade route between. You would have seen people from a variety of cultures and ethnic groups, has as you would have in the analogous historical period cities.
You have the right to say vile bull s—- and we have a right to call it what it is. A privately moderated forum has a right to squash inappropriate rhetoric. Its nost just part of a major trade route. It is a port city. Out of all the links of a trade route, those would see the most varied of goods and people coming through.

Sadly, something that seems to have been forgotten by far too many these days. Moderates are such ineffectual people. At least the racists believe in something. Anyways, my opinion is that Emrikol specifically should be locked in a small room without a computer in it for the rest of their natural life, and I'm going to keep saying it louder and more often. Of course, this is just my opinion. I think it should be a more regular part of public discourse, the idea that Emrikol should literally be in a cage right now. Let's start talking about that.

From the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide, emphasis added. Humans dwell in every corner of Toril and encompass a full range of cultures and ethnicities. Along the Sword Coast and across the North, humans are the most pervasive of the races and in many places the most dominant. Their cultural and societal makeup runs the gamut, from the cosmopolitan folk who reside in great cities such as Baldur’s Gate and Waterdeep to the barbarians who rage throughout the Savage Frontier. That guide goes on to detail a number of ethnic origins which "are significant minorities in regions or nations that border the North", many of which have dark skin. So everything else aside, this complaint isn't even consistent with the source material. Agreed, while they aren't the majority of the population on the Swordcoast the idea that they are vanishingly rare is absurd. One of the things that made the Swordcoast what it is, is that it attracted folks of all types from all over Faerun, because it was a place where anyone could go without a central goverment to block immigration.

Maybe their family had to escape, maybe their parents were adventurers. Any backstory works. It stops working when applied at scale. But, really, there are only a few humans, so I fully admit it's too early to tell how badly they are gonna distort what The Sword Coast actually looks like. Next thing you know they will introduce a comic-book villain who wants to build a wall, evict refugees, and put kids in cages like some ham-fisted political fanfiction. Oh wait...

People like you don't help to fight racism, your own breed of woke igorance fuels it (and the huge failures of the 8 billion dollar per year woke divrsity and inclusion industry shows this). If you want to learn how to actually fight racism, look up Darrell Davis, a black jazz musician who convinced 200 KKK members to give up racism,which is more then the entire hoard of Wokesters combined with has ever achieved in the fight against racism one man. Darrell Davis did it by talking to them as people and building bridges. May you grew in wisdom, the path to equality is free speech, not in surpressing speech.

"official sources" are completely moot. Tihs is like the chuds crying about playable women in BFV being met with wikipedia pages for the few famous women combatants. The point is not to be "correct," they're just regressive slime who don't want to see anything but lily-white dudes in their games.
